Hey!
Well, it is a total washed out weekend here in NYC. So, I'm home with not much to do.
Turned on my new LCD TV and the re-run of the MTV '06 MVA is just starting. Hmmm... I don't remember when was the last time I really sit and watch the MVA. I lost my interest in American music secene for a while now, rarely follow any thing... and of cause MTV of which stand for Music Television pretty much stop play music videos... what a decade ago?

I used to watch alot of MTV and their MVA when I was younger.
Nothing to do. So, I turn on my system pumped the sound through my SET and Single Drivers sysem and watch.

Anyway, it was ok catching up with the American music secenc. Justin Timberlake opening performance was nice. Reconteur was there the whole time of which I think it was nice. And the All American Reject sounds pretty interesting.
Oh! Christina Aguilera was surprisingly enjoyable..... I like that classic feel of her performance and her look

She dose have a pretty good voice. Compare to her competition... uhhh.... Britney Spear, Christina definately way ahead. Hmmm.... I might check out her new album.
And what is the big deal with Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" ? Never a fan of her music.. I find her music to be well.... bland. Sorry it takes more than just good hips action for me to buy an album.

And the other bland performance for me is Beyonce.

Also, Jack Black as a host is pretty boring for me. I don't know why.

Oh! man... even Al Gore was there talking about the enviroment... I think that was nice of him that he did that just

But! I think the best parts for me was. The performance by the OK Go.... you know the band that hit it big after thier extreamly low budget video was show on the Internet? Anyway, it was fun to watch and they performed those treadmill number flawlessly. I also like that song too. A fun song with a very creative act.

Anyway, I did not know alot of those songs and artists. So, it was good for me to do some catch up.

Take care,
Buddy
