Sig 30 power Question
« on: 13 Aug 2006, 11:51 am »
The 6moons review mentions using the Sig 30 with speakers rated at 88dB. With extremely dynamic music (classical) such as "Symphonie Fantastique" or Shostakovich's 5th etc. and with full range speakers, does anyone have impressions of how this amp does in comparison to a high powered amplifier with more headroom. Thanks.

I saw that your question hasn't been answered yet. Tomorrow I should have my Sig 30 and I have a pair of 1000 watt monoblocks I could compare it to.

It would help if people knew how efficient the speakers you're talking about are and how big your room is.

I would be interested in the outcome of your comparison. Which 1000W monoblock are you talking about?
