Hi all:
My NEC CDR-602 is starting to show signs of age (laser dirt/misalignment?). So I am looking for a cheap, high-audio quality, durable CD transport, using SPDIF output into my amplifier.
I've been wondering about the Pioneer DJ CD players, such as the CDJ-100S or CDJ-200. They appear to use Pioneers high-end vibration-damping transport. Also, given the sophistication of the DJ features, I am assuming that the bitstream is very, very accurate.
Does anyone have any experience with them? Do they emit any vibration/spin up sound when being used on a nearby desk?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ian
