Hi,

I recently heard a passive preamp that a friend's place and was floored. Great dynamics! This was something that i've come to not expect
from a passive preamp until i heard this one. This was a DIY model built by his friend.
I am interested in knowing if any of the commercially available preamps use this potentiometer....

Yes, I picked up an Aragon 24K with external power supply and Penny Giles Pot and it sounds great.  The P&G pot was an expensive option, I believe, when this preamp was new.  I believe they are Swiss made and very high quality.   I love this preamp and have seen them on the used market from time to time.  No remote but htat's the only thing I don't like about it.
