Jag/Maestro setup, Large or Small
« on: 17 Jul 2006, 03:15 pm »
I have just perchased a Maestro Xl and I'm very excited. I have a pair of Jaguar 2000's as my mains, a Essence center channel and a pair of Emeralds as my rear channel speakers. I listen to two channel music as well as watch movies. I have my Jags setup currently as Large in my Rotel 1098. My idea is to keep the Jags as Large for two channel applications once the Maestro arrives but changing the setting to Small for any multi-channel movie applications. I also have my Essence set as a large speaker but if I change my mains to Small it's also must be changed to Small in the processor.

Also, what would all of you recommend I use for my crossover for my speakers? Currently I've had them at 80hz.

Thanks

80 is a good point. I'd also suggest you try two-channel WITH the Maestro  . . . you might not go back  :D
