Last night I am listening to 6 motets by J.S.Bach on vinyl and the power goes out. I am thinking, "oh, sheeeyit," but the tubes stay glowing and the music plays on. Then I remembered that my power "conditioner," Audiophile APS Pure Power 1050, has battery back up (to 8 minutes). How cool is that! I am thinking I will listen a little more and then start the power down sequence (I have one of those no protection preamp that must be turned on first and turned off last) when power came back on. It's great when your toy does its thing....
