Last Call...... All aboard !

So the 845 tour may have reached the end of the line at Deadfish's place. If no one else wants to check them out, then we'll declare it the End of the Line.

   Have fun!

Hey Willie, I'd love to hear it in front of the Lowthers if'n you don't mind. I was sorta waiting until it made its rounds before I threw my hat into the ring. I might be seeing Deadfish Friday if we can talk him into bringing the amp along.

That's amp*s* Scott!

Yah, if I can make it, which I plan to, I'll bring them along!!

They are a pleasant treat.  Really fleshed out the 19's well!  (sigh...)

I think I am an ampaholic...

Go for it Scott.  After you get them set up, if you still have those ( forgot the name ) "S" shaped
FR'ers, I'd like to hear that.

Cool :green:

Bill, I'll see you tomorrow night.

Willie, as soon as I get your 845's I'll post it here. I'll mate them with the Teresonics first and then we can always get the crane out and move them over to the PM2As.

I can't wait  :hyper:

Willie,

I really wanted to hear those puppies in my rig but it just isn't in the cards right now. I just got my house listed with the realtor. I could see the look on my wife's face now when I ask her "Janet honey, could ya help me haul these amps upstairs" You're gonna put those where? Maybe I can borrow em later on after I find a new place. Scott, I'd love to hear em on the lowthers too.

Don't worry Mark, whenever you get the time to give a listen, they'll be around. Just give me a Holler.

Hiya Ron,

I'll lug them downstairs this morning and get them fired up. I need to get ahold of Willie and find out start up sequence. I think he's got a filiment delay switch on these. I'll flip them upside down and figure out which one it is but I want to check with Willie just to make sure.

Once they're up and running, I'll post a pic or two.

Hiya Guys,

Just thought I'd post a quick pic of Willies 845's driving the Teresonic's.

I've got to say, I thought that my 2A3's or Willies PP45's were the tone king in front of the Lowthers but I was wrong. These 845's have a huge sound. They bring the Lowthers midrange even more forward. Guys like Coleman Hawkins and Stan Getz sound phenominal. The sound of their sax big and phat with Willies latest creations. It's got to be all those big PIO caps Willies used. They don't quite have the bass of a PP but its well on par with my 2A3.

Willie, these things are extremely cool. I only wish I had my A-7s up and running so I could hear them driving a front loaded horn and a big pair of 15's.

Very nice  :thumb:

Looks like you got them running huh,  Scott. What really gets me about the 845's is the "Open-ness"
of the Single -Ended sound thats really "Big".
My PP45 amp is a great amp, but the big SE 845 is special !
   Have fun

You really need to work on those A-7's Scott!
I wasn't saying much before, as I never like predisposing someone's listening with my reactions if I can help it.
Those amps *really* made the 19's bloom and did a great job of filling the speaker end of the room with sound.
I really couldn't complain about the bass and that is the end of the sound spectrum I *can* hear!

You've raised the bar about what I can expect in my 'big system' Willie!
Thank you very much for the loan; yer a true gentleman.

Best Regards,
Bill
