I am wondering if there are any AVA Ultra 550 owners in the Southern New Jersey, or more broadly the Delaware Valley area. I have a FetValve 550EXR, and would like to find out if there would be an Ultra owner who might be willing to bring their precious commodity to my home for a comparison. Lunch would be on me (my wife is an excellent cook!) Any takers will get to hear how Frank's amps sound on Shahinian speakers!
I asked Frank if making this kind of request was okay, and his only comment was to caution the readers to make sure who they might be dealing with (me!) before proceeding. Anyone interested can PM me and I will provide a phone number for discussions.
Update: while it would be great if I could invite someone over to my home to be able to hear an Ultra in my environment, I understand that many may hesitate to transport their own amp so someone else could hear it. I understand. I would be more than willing to work with anyone in my area to bring my own EXR to their abode, to hear it in their system if they wanted to show off their own Ultra 550.
