Read on...I included installation.

I recently acquired a 2003 Honda Accord Ex and don't know if I can integrate my iPod into my stereo.  It has the integrated climate control/stereo/6cd changer.

Has anyone have a third party device?  I was told that the DLO Transdock $99 works but not really sure.

I do not like iTrip or the idea of broadcasting music through the FM.

Thanks guys.

I've been watching for the Neo iOn for my car.  There seems to be one available for your Honda though.

I would look at the Neo... Well I would look at any thing with out freaking FM modulation.

If your six disc uses RCA's perhaps you could route them to a docking station as well. Either way the FM modulation is still FM..... While it it seems to sound at first you can tell that the music is a little flat.

Thanks guys.

My Honda does not have an RCA out.  It does have an auxiliary connection but it is DIN plug for MP3/CD changer.  There are adaptors that I found on the net Blitzafe and Ice>Link: Plus at LogJam Electronics.

LogJam Electronics are selling Blitzafe universal iPod interface for most cars.  I found one for my car.  :singing:

It looks like they are in the same price as Neo iOn between $150-199.

iPod is bad enough let alone an FM modulator.

I found it!  Here is an iPod integrator solution for 2003 Honda Accord: Dice Electronics
I just installed it in my 2003 Honda Accord and it works flawlessly using radio controls.  The stock radio sees the ipod as a CD changer but with only 60GB worth of music. :green:
It also charges the iPod while it is docked.
On top of it all, the sound quality is surprisingly excellent. aa  I highly recommended it.  DIY installation takes only 30mins for first timers.

Here is the breakdown:
Dice Electronics I-Honda-R3 iPod integrator = $159.99 + $10 shipping = $169.99 Total
DIY installation: 30mins or less.

Area below the radio.  Plenty of space as you can see.

iPod installed inside the arm rest w/optional cradle.

Nice, I will consider that for my 2003 V6!

It is very nice indeed.  Who needs a CD changer?

The integrator kit also has an auxiliary 1/8 phono input.  Can be used with other MP3 devices etc. :o

I found this video clip in how to install the ipod adapter for the 7th Generation accord.  It is an excellent DIY from start to finish.

The Dice is the bomb!  I have it in my car, and I love it!!!

I am curious.  Did you install it youself?

I did the install.

It was pretty simple.  I had to take a hacksaw to a piece of my center fold down arm rest, but it's completely stealth now.  And you can't see the saw marks.

Yeah I know it is pretty simple.  Just a little bit of knowledge and tools saved you $150 worth of installation.   :thumb:
