SA-1 questions.
« on: 9 Jun 2006, 12:48 pm »
Hi all,
Is there a difference between the SA-1 sold directly from Selah verses the kit sold by Madisound? If so, what are the differences? Also, do you think the SA-1 would mate well with an Audio Refinement Alpha Complete integrated? [50wpc] Lastly, do you think it would be a significant upgrade over a pair of Triangle Titus ES? The Triangles are a very good match with the AR, providing a wide open midrange and a sweet, detailed high end. The only area where I find the Titus ES lacking is the bass. What's there is very good, they just don't go very deep and I'm not a fan of subwoofers. So, SA-1, worthwhile upgrade for the Titus or not?

The kits are exactly the same except our prices include shipping. The prices on Madisound's site will be changing to reflect the difference (the woofer prices recently decreased).

I've not heard the Triangle but from what I've read about it I think you would find the SA-1 to be a step up in performance. 50 watts will drive it without a problem.
