Frycleaner Pro Question.
« on: 4 Jun 2006, 03:16 am »
Hello Jim!  I have a couple of questions on the inverse riaa board.  I don't see an R55 in the parts list, but it looks like there is a resistor in the assembly photo online.  Do I use a 1.91k resistor there?  It also looks like only 1 of the C51 and C52 slots are being used.  Please confirm.  Thanks for the help.  Peace.  Robert

You can use a jumper wire.  Any low value resistor will do.  Means nothing for burn-in purposes.

I admit, the instructions are confusing in this area as both boards have an R1, etc.  When I build the Pro, I install both resistors so I don't have to think.  Then I can wire up either input.  I use my assembly and soldering moments as my 'down' time, where I don't have to think.  It just becomes automatic after a while.  I can veg out and recover from intense layout or design sessions.
