Anyone done this? I should be over there in a month or two on business and was looking for some pointers. Do places like DIYHIFI Supply give discounts in-country?

Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok area. Between those areas near Sai Yeung Chois Street, there are wads of stores.

Find the address for Jadis Electronics and you will get a 21 floor building of nothing but Hi-end HiFi stores

One thing I can recommend.  If you go into a shop in Hong Kong and found an item you like, buy it right away.  The chances of you finding your way back to that store will be slim.  Stranger.
