I just got back from an appointment with my doctor and I had a question for the masses:

Should I be worried if my doctor has a Bose Wave Radio in his office?  I just noticed it on the counter behind his desk while I visited today.

Previously, he seemed competent enough - but now I just don't know.  Should I seek another doctor?

I'd be more worried if he had a real system as we all know audiophiles aren't right in the head.

If you're worried about the competence of your doctor, you should have asked about his class ranking, not worry about his experience or taste in audio equipment.  I'd be much more concerned if he had a system with thousands spent on cables, ICs, and power cords than a Bose Wave radio in his office.

as long as he isn't an audiologist, it should be fine.

sts9fan,

Next time you and he are eating lunch at the same place and you hear classical music playing, ask him if it sounds like the violins are wandering about the room.

Does the lunch place have Bose speakers? I saw him speak once and he seems like the kind of guy that might only eat in places where there is Bose sound.

If I were you, I would seek a second opinion.
So easy to bash Bose.

I'd only worry if he used it to give you a hearing test.
