Any Orion owners in Brisbane?

With all the talk about Orions, I was wandering if there were any Orion owners in Brisbane, Australia.

I have a pair of Aksonics and am building a GK-1 pre and 4 channels of 55N+ amplifiers. Hugh has been talking of a possible Aksonics update and with the Orions recieiving such a good response there are a number of alternatives out there that work well with AKSA amps.

I'm still talking with Ron, should have something for you soon. I really need to crunch the negotiations with Ron; I can see there is demand out there for an updated AKSonic, and I apologise for delays.

Thanks for your reply. I would like to have a listen to the Orions driven by AKSA amps, if someone nearby has this setup. I like the concept of both the Aksonics upgrade and the Orions as a next step, but obviously the Orion is a lot more cost and time.

You have heard both speakers and how do you think they compare? Obviously the Orions have more bass, but to me the Aksonics have controlled bass, but perhaps not all that low.
