Unfortunately I have not heard the TAD-60 but I've had the 1000 monoblocks for about a week now and they sound great.  There are several threads/reviews over on audiogon, all favorable I believe and  there should be a link from Paul's website www.2baudio.com

What have you compared your monoblocks to?

A customer brought the TAD60 integrated (single input with volume pot) to my soundroom a week ago.  For a $900 unit it performed well on the 626R and RM2, with liquid mids, soft trebles, and fairly solid bass that did not extend into the first octave.

Very listenable!

Is it a good option to biamp the mids/treble of a pair of RM2's?

I think that would work out, and if it didn't, you could easily sell it with small loss.

I have had the TAD-60 tube amp since December and it is one very good amp.  The music is dynamic with very good midrange and bass.  I listen to it in Ulta-linear mode versus triode mode because I like my music with more punch.  The output tubes can be biased so the amp can sound like a SET on the first 10 watts.

I am listening to my music more often.  I was skeptical but there are a lot of good reviews on the audiogon.com forum.

Tubeaudiodesign.com makes a very good single driver speaker TAD-803 which mates well with the TAD-60.  The speaker is similarly designed like the B&W.
