"The Best" PS has arrived!

Well I put it in about 10 minutes ago, ice cold and selected Ben Harper - Fight For Your Mind for the first cd.

Going from Wayne's original little gray box PS to this is quite a leap forward!

Even with only about 50 hrs on the PS and basically no time on the umbilical cord, Ben's voice is deep, textured, and smoooth. Bells have a really nice ring that lingers (although not quite as detailed or airy as I know it can be) nicely in the air. Bass is extended, tight, and powerful. Ben's slide guitar on track 13 is rasing the hairs on the back of my neck and I can picture each movement on the neck of the guitar - spooky good stuff!

I am jumping the gun a bit, but I am VERY confident this new PS is going to be silly good when it breaks in.

Save your dollars now and figure out a way to convince Wayne to make you one of these.

Stay tuned as I put hours on the PS as well as continue to get my system setup and tuned.

I am glad the PS arrived safely.

The DC power cable takes about 4-5 hours to start to open up. After that give it a couple of days. Be prepared for some really extended low end and very nice imaging.

YES.

It also happens to be the "best" PS I have tried on the Squeeze Box. I have tried three from Wayne and one from Vinnie plus the stock wall wart.

Well the PS really doesn't have a "name".

I decided to offer good, better & best options for the design.

George ordered an upgrade to his "Deluxe" PS that had all the options I described under the "Best".

If anyone would care to come up with some names, I would be interested in hearing them.
