(Yes, it is sold...could have sold a dozen of them. Just goes to show you that if you sell for less than you pay you always have a customer...he he...bad business model....bad) My very own modified ASP amp. Stereo amp using 2 ASP 500 modules (250 watts a channel into 8 ohms). Same modules used by PS Audio, AVreality, Bel-Canto, Roland and others. I modified the modules by damping many parts, eliminating some power supply parts, changing the main diodes, changing the front end op amp and changing some parts to Blackgates. OFC input jacks wired directly to the boards with Audioconsulting silver/cotton wire and Discovery cable. Outputs and AC power supply wires are all Discovery wire. The wires on the output are taken through holes in the back panel and wrapped around the outside of the binding posts essentially giving a wire to wire clamp (no binding post sound). The modules are mounted on pieces of hardwood (oak) inside the chassis. The chassis is one of my Millennium DAC chassis....so, that is what it says on the front. The chassis is a little funky but still nice to look at. I will have some pictures of the insides and out on my website either tonight or tomorrow. Look on the specials for sale page.
