CD Bottom Fishing at Amazon?

On Amazon is there a way to view CDs by price and genre? I have free shipping on any order from them for one more week and am interested in seeing what they have in the low (sub $5) price point.

On a related note, are there any good sites for cheap CD closeouts, etc?

But it looks like you have to buy one every month. Can you just buy when you want to?

I have 80 CDs in my YourMusic.com "music queue", so it isn't that hard to find enough CDs to allow one to get one a month for awhile. I've also snagged some amazing deals on box sets, I got the bob Dylan SACD box set from YourMusic for $96. That's 16 SACDs, the cheapest I saw it prior to finding it on YourMusic was just under $200.

Anyway, read the "How it works" stuff by following the link with that description and I think you'll enjoy YourMusic.com as much as I do.

Is yourmusic.com related to BMG?

There are a few CDs that BMG doesn't have the yourmusic ALSO doesn't have.

They also have the exact same search criteria.

I would also like to be able to sort Amazon CDs by price.

The selection on Yourmusic.com is worthless to me. I did several artist searches and came up empty 90% of the time. If they had Amazon's selection, it would be a slam dunk for me.

Yeah, their selection sucks, no real indies or much world music, but they still have a worthwhile selection in classical, jazz and pop/rock...dunno where else you can get new cds for 6$ shipped(+tax). I refuse to pay $12 and up for a single cd, unless I buy it directly from the artist and they get most of the money.
Also check secondspin.com for cds under 8$.

Speaking of classical, I did manage to find some sacd's over there at $5.99... picked up two of the LSO live series  8)   Ordinarily I just keep my queue filled and take one a month, then buy ten or so from the Amazon dealers...  my queue at Amazon is more like a wish list, I must have at least a hundred picked out over there.
