I know that the CD layer on a Dual Disc doesn't meet the spec...but I thought I'd take a chance a give it a try.  Sure enough my Arcam DV 78 has tracking issues / audible pops , skips, etc.

I don't however seem to have the same issue in my car.  Wierd.

Anyway, can anyone reco a CD player / transport that can handle Dual Disc?

Thanks!

I don't have any problem playing them anywhere other than on my PC.  Pisses me off that I can't rip them.

Can't rip them!?!   :slap:   I haven't tried it yet, but did plan to rip a copy to my DAP.  Argh!

I'll try it tonight and see what happens.

Devils and Dust, and White Teeth both ripped really well for me.

Dual Disc does not work consistently for me on ayre -cx7e. CDR, and others work perfeclty on my cdp.  I have dual disc "Guilty Pleasure" plays fine on dvd player (music only, not dvd). When i rip to cdr, then it works ok on ayre cx-7e
