I'm looking for speakers and so far have found a couple I like the new Energy Reference Connoisseur rc10 and rc30 , wonder if Mr Tanner may
have heard these with a B60 ? the only reason I ask is drivers look very
similar to new Energy pro series  . Or what lit you up with the B60 ? that's
still current  :P .

Hi 2-channel,

I have not heard the rc10 or 30 with a B60 but looking at the power ratings and efficency (88 and 89dB) I would say they would be OK as long as it was a medium size room and you listen at moderate levels.


The drivers and crossovers have been recently developed specifically for the EnergyPro product so they are not the same as the Connoisseur series of speakers.

If you're using a newer B60 with the SST updates I would say most speakers would pair very well with it - try as many as you can. I have experience with an older B60, it (as well as the 3b & 4b ST series of amplifiers) IMHO could sound a little 'rough around the edges' with subpar recordings - especially in the highs.
