CD-player under US$1,100?

Now that CD-playback reached maturity, which are, in your opinion, those NEW CD-players that stand head and shoulders over the competition under US$1,100?

From what I listened so far, the only one that is in my budget and I like is the Chinese Original CD-2008 MK II.

Hum, under $1100, if you are willing to go used, I really like the Arcam CD23 and the Unison Unico.  If you are lucky, you could also find a Audio Aero Prima around that price.

If you want new, I haven't heard many in the under $1100 bracket  but the Eastsound CD5 and Eastern Electric Minimax are supposed to be nice.

Have fun shopping.

I think the Rotel 1072 is really good for the price. The new Rega Apollo is probably also a good candidate - although I haven't heard it.
