They are probably rather similarly excellent value....only having heard (and owned) the Khartago now.
I think both employ generous amounts of feedback for solid damping (but are stable designs). I believe both use bipolar output devices, and are biased into class A into well up in the power range. I've heard both described as 'effortless' and 'tubelike' in their presentation. The Khartago, to me, has been both.
I'd think they'll sound more similar than, say, an Adcom and Parasound would versus the Khartago/AKSA. It'll just boil down to your personal preference on the nuances and cost / availability.
