The SP2 has been shipping for a couple of weeks now.   I got mine two weeks ago.    I think there's a waiting list, though.

On another forum, it was stated that the SP2 comes with some form of room equalisation that has not been enabled.

Can anyone comment on this?

There is the ability to offer Room EQ in terms of computing power - we just have not yet written the software.

Our intention is to offer another Advanced Menu later with the SP2 that will include the EQ feature.

The last time James commented on this, "later" meant "perhaps a year from now". So, a LOT later, not soon.

Damn straight it does.  :bawl:

Still, I suppose I should be thankful we managed to bully you into agreeing to parametric EQ at all.
