Slimserver....Which version is now best?

:? I am still confused about which version as of 2/7 is the most stable, installs easily and provides the best sound quality.

I am using 6.2.2 without issues, other than my perception that turning on ReplayGain (optional) degrades fidelity.  I would stay away from the 6.5b1 for now.
