Change Transformer to 240 VAC
« on: 3 Feb 2006, 01:23 am »
Hi, I'm interested with Odyssey Khartago Amp...I'm looking for second hand Khartago in the market (A'gon) but mosly they sell it in 115 VAC (American Voltage), I'm from Australia, can anyone tell me is the transformer factory preset (can be changed to 240 VAC internally, without replacing the transformer) or have to be replaced the transformer by Odyssey to 240 VAC?

thank's for the info

Hi Mr Cool,

Here is the link to the australian dealer who provide good customer service.  In my experience it isn't worth going to the hassle of importing heavy amps, paying shipping and taxes and then converting the amp to 240voltage.

Just my opinion though.

Hi, I know Odyssey can do the change-over. I recommend contacting Klaus and asking how he would treat this.
