Any body ever her of Toy matinee? Once again I was rumaging thru some old music and came across this old fav.

Their DVD-Audio is one of my favorite surround titles. It's licensed by DTS and often folks will buy the lower rez (but still well done) DTS mix instead; the packaging is almost identical. The Kevin Gilbert story is a sad one, overall. And the Sheryl Crow chapters are quite interesting, too.

Anyway, good music, good surround.

I had heard somthing about Kevin Gilbert, but never got the full story and I didn't know about the Sheryl Crow part. Any place that tells the story?

Yes, do a search on Kevin Gilbert and you'll get a bunch of stuff. Here are a couple that will get most of the basics on his death, and his absolute indignation that Crow would take responsibility for the writing and/or success of her first album.
