I believe they are privately held but agree the service you received was excellent. I just received my SB3 last week and I'm very impressed with the quality of the unit, the ease of use and the sound. Also impressed by Vinnie's work on the mods (Redwine). I have not listened to lossless yet because I haven't had time to burn any CD's but my MP3's and downloads on iTunes sound good.
One thing that surprised me on the SB3 was the "Designed and Manufactured in California" designation. It's good to see companies making innovative and well designed products in the US. I hope these guys do well because they have a great product and great service.
