The OmegaStar solid state series has been unchanged for about three years now and remain outstanding units. See the Chairguy's thoughts herein. He is running two channels of a three channel OmegaStar 240/3EX.
The Fet Valve Ultra 350 and 550 are new upgraded versions of our Fet Valve hybrid designs. In general its been two years or so between major upgrades of this series. Sometimes we do make unannounced running improvements when we learn something new that does not require major circuit board design changes.
We are always thinking and working on ways to make the sound better and better, and we always will be.
If the possibility future changes bother you, then our advice is to purchase the last products from a company going out of business. Then you won't have to worry about future upgrades.
