Help with WAF

Greetings, I know that the RAW moderator cannot fairly answer this question, but I need some feedback to help with attaining spousal approval on a HT3 purchase.
Q: What current Brick and Mortar Speakers would you consider the peers of the HT3?
- Paradigm Studio 40? PSB Stratus? B&W??? I am trying to explain the amount of savings that I am achieving on this purchase. She likes the Idea of saving money, so it is better if I put it in terms of: "this speaker is the equivilant of X...which is $Y more expensive!"
Any help? I think she just wants the comparison so she can feel better about the purchase.

Hi,
My advice is to get the receipt doctored so it indicates half the price you actually pay for the speakers. After a couple of years you can tell her how much the speakers really cost
.
I do this all the time now.
