HT3 distance from wall

How close can an HT3 be positioned to the back wall without affecting the port? Same question for the side firing woofer.

On a side note - any plans for an HT4 (an HT3 with a second WR125S)?

When we had a set here, they were fine when positioned as close as 6" to the rear wall (didn't try any closer than that, but I figure they should work as close as 3" from the rear wall).

I had the side woofers firing 8" into the side of my RPTV with no problems.

Also Al has now made a HT8 - Two wr's (I believe) and two extremis...looks to be a very promising speaker.

I would agree with Dan

No closer that 3" we have them here 8" away from the wall just for the fact of getting them out past a TV unit.

10" is right! Those speakers had better bass resonse than the last 10" powered sub I reviewed - and that sub had the benifit of being in a better location!!

I actually meant I had them 8" from the side of my TV.

Yes the little HT3 does have just a little low end

Now just think you have done a demo on the HT3 with a single 6.8" in them.
How about the HT8 with twin 6.8" in each.

As a fact we just did a demo this AM and we sure like watching the faces of those who have not any idea what a pair of HT3 can do.

But when we demo the HT8 the expressions just are pure shock

Then we demo a pair of Apex.
