4. People's Spring; Warsaw Village Band [World Village]

I saw this on the tower list you reference on their web site one day by chance and bought it. It is not audiophile caliber, but I like the music and the CD does have reasonable dynamics.

The music is termed "hardcore Polish folk." Do not buy their new album, "Uprooting", or whatever it is. That one is much more ethnographic and less fun, imo. Samples on the tower site.

I don't know if the other recordings mentioned are better in terms of sound quality than this one.

I would like to hear Nine Inch Nails on SACD...... I just plain old want to hear The Kinks and Eric Clapton cd as well haha.

Wish my computer could do SACD or some thing.
