Jim: descrepancy between resistor values in Cornet manuals

I'm doing latenight inventory of Cornet parts so I can continue soldering tomorrow (have the sockets and a couple of the larger resistors on the board now.)  I had misplaced the original manual that came with the board I bought at VSAC two years ago (yikes!), so I printed the one on the website (CLASSIC, not Cornet 2.)  I'm using the 370 transformer, and have the proper part changes (R21 becomes 2 ohms, R2 becomes 3.9K)  I have found the original manual now with my notes, but have refered to the one I printed from the website, as it is nice and large.  Anyways, I noticed in the parts list of the manual that came with the Classic Cornet I bought a couple years ago that R4 is 300K and R19 is 1M, but in the manual printed on the website R19 is listed as also being 300K!  My question: which is correct (have the 1M resistors, would have to order a couple of 300K resistors if the original manual has an error, or there has been a change for the better.)

Now, second question: the CSS for R18.  I'm going to do this, and according to a posting/schematic on this forum (June 2003), I needed to get two 1K 1watt resistors and two 16volt 100 UF caps.  I bought these parts, but noticed on the manual I printed from the website that it is different from the CSS posted here in 2003.  The parts are different (still the MJE340, but instead of the caps and resistors I ordered, it's 910ohm resistors and 470uf caps!)  Also, the photo shows unmarked spots on the board to place CCS caps and resistors.  These don't exist on my "antique" Cornet board.  I'm assuming that what is in the online Cornet Classic manual is a further advanced CCS.  Is this new CCS a big improvement over the one printed on the website in June of 2003?  Would I be screwing myself by sticking with the old one?  If so, how would one connect this new version of the CCS on an older Cornet board like mine?  The photo from the 2003 posting is helpful for the old CCS.

I confess.  I knew I would get caught some day.  Bwaah!   Actually, either value will work in this location.  They are simply bleeders for the output caps.  They end up in parallel with the loading of the preamp, and don't really do much.  With Cornet connected, they are not even required.

For the CCS, either 910 or 1k resistors will work.  I did find slightly improved ripple rejection with the 470uF, however.  Original Cornet board (yours) did not have locations for CCS.  I'll trade your old Cornet board for a new one.  Send me your address again offline.
