finally got around to installing my exterior hdtv antenna today-
man what a royal pain in the ass-and expensive-ground wire(6ga solid)20$-antenna49$-rca cable-20$ connectors 12$ -1 section of mast 8$-tripod stand for roof 30$-misc 10$
4 hrs time

still have to install my fm antenna but i forgot a extra section of mast and dont feel like going back to home depot also cant find the hardware that came with antenna  -

btw the rca  non crip connectors work like a charm-pn#dt60cf-just cut the wire clean and follow directions-

I found the biggest PITA was calibrating my rotator so that I could punch in the degrees and have it correspond to the actual degrees.  I still haven't got it right but haven't had time to fix it either.

most stations in my area come from the same direction-i really only kneed it for fox hd-the other local hd channels are available over cable, but they wont carry fox for some reason- and i want to watch the GIANTS in hd
