VMPS Dealer in North Central Massachusetts
« on: 28 Jul 2005, 03:53 pm »
Open for business at last! I have an impressive dedicated soundroom for auditions (some of the regulars here have read The Soundroom From Hell thread - yes, the room lives!)  :o

Want to hear the mighty RM/x in all their glory? Message me for an appointment. We offer great prices - VMPS is one of the best no-compromise values in the audiophile world, even if Brian Cheney is too shy to say so. We also give you (In my local area) installation and tuning assistance on any VMPS product you purchase. In addition, I provide on-site room treatment consulting (free with an RM/x purchase, otherwise for fee).

Lunenburg, MA. As no one's ever heard of Lunenburg, I generally describe it as north of Worcester.

Scott-

I was in Lunenburg yesterday (I have family living there)!  I'll be excited to arrange a demo when next we go down to MA.  I live 80 miles north in NH.  Congrats on your opening, and I hope business booms for you.

Best,
Kj

I wonder if I know your family.  :)  Anyway, I'm closed this weekend (the painter is here) but expect to be set up again by Tuesday evening.  I'll PM you with contact details.

Setting up an audition
Just a note - a number of folk have asked about joining in on other people's demos. In general, I can't ask someone who has requested a demo, to share their demo time with others. A demo is a customer's "special time" with the gear, a chance to hold the remote and do more or less whatever they please, without interruption.

Now, if friends want to arrange in advance to come as a group, that's absolutely fine - the more the merrier. And I absolutely encourage people interested in buying to bring spouses, as the RM/x is not a purchase to spring on the unsuspecting. They tend to... dominate the decor of a room.  :D

So come one and all, individually or in pre-arranged groups as you like. Folk travelling over a weekend to hear an audition, can even borrow the guest room for the night (there are some decent little places around for breakfast). I can also recommend some area bed&breakfasts for the folk who are making it a part of their summer travels.

On the off chance someone spotted the loophole, let me quickly amend this: I encourage them to being their own spouses.   :D

Good luck to you Scott. I hope your room lives up to your expectations.

Now when you really want to hear the VMPS sing, bring 'em to Gardner MA and I'll be glad to break 'em in for you here!  ;-)

Best,

Paul
