I received the following message from Stan Warren on the new Revelation 3 this morning:

The preamp is waiting for heat sinks from Texas!  Mouser has a warehouse there.  They should be here any day now.  I will ship it asap on the arrival of the heat sinks and let you know it is on it's way.

Thanks for the support from so many of you!  There are always going to be some who refuse to see that the emporer has no clothes.  
Here's Stan putting out all this new gear. WHAT ABOUT MY GEAR, STAN! Take care of you customers in the order that they come, or do you see a flaw in that basic approach?  Put your new stuff on the back burner until you catch up on your unfinished business.  Since you won't answer my calls or letters, I can just continue to use this world wide board.  Make it right, Stan.
OBF, If Stan covers the total bill on getting my gear dealt with, I'm willing to listen to more about your idea. My old sound engineer knows how to work on Haflers, too, but Stan sold me on his own ideas and he has my amps.
I'm sorry to come off like such a grouch, everyone, but Stan knows that I live on disability and I'm far away. He knows my health situation.

have to agree with bingo on this one...

would'nt touch a stan warren product even if it was less than earlier posted ( or any any product/manufacture that has a reputation like it)

customer service and repair is very important with this kind of product..

didja receive any info about when bingo would be getting his amps back?     nuttin' personal jcc, but i don't really give a rat's a** how it sounds.  i would like to think a fair number of others agree w/me.  of course, different horses for different courses...

i agree, bingo dint handle this well, but i know he's not the only one to have gotten a taste of stan's "service".

i could care less how it sounds, w/so many other offerings out there, but that's me!  

fwiw, i had a nice off-forum conversation w/jcc about this; i hope everything works out for the best w/his audio stuff.

Get your facts right, Wolfee.  If any members think there is something more appropriate than 'continuously' asking Mr. Warren to return my personal property for more than eight years, any intelligent suggestions would be appreciated. I live in Ohio and can't easily travel.
If someone is an honest person, why should you even have to ask more than once?

Bingo,have you thought about contacting UPS to arrange a pick-up of your amps. UPS will even create and deliver your shipping label and collect the amps. See below links: http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/select/sending/options/returns_plus.html

You could have the amps back in about a week and you as the shipper could
directly make a claim to UPS if they were damaged.

you may wanna file a claim w/the better business bureau.  you can find 'em on line.  so far, i am 1-for-2 w/them, & the second one still has potential.    of course, i dint wait 8 years to file...
