Wow nice call! I didn't realize they had built in amps too. I'm not sure I'm sold on that idea though. I hope they release standalone players that have USB inputs soon.

the amp could in the sub unit... which is more likely imo

I thought of that possibility as well. Doesn't seem like Denon's style to have all amps in sub, but it's entirely possible.

Edited to add: That's a lot of ventilation in the case for there not to be amps present.
