Who's the first to review the remote volume control?

How does it work? You point the sender in the general direction of the preamp and push the up or down volume rocker and watch the volume knob turn and hear the sound level go up or down. You push the mute button and the sound mutes. You push the mute button again, or the volume rocker either up or down and the sound unmutes.

How does it sound? Exactly the same as one of our preamps without the remote control option.

And I am sure you can still operate the volume control by hand, as well?

Of course. But no click stops on the motorized pot.

I have had the remote option on a T7 for a couple months, and it's a joy. There is no electronic noise and no mechanical noise. It operates smoothly and slowly with a small remote. And the mute gently kills all sound, if you have to answer the door or whatever.
