http://batmanbegins.warnerbros.com/ Has the trailer, and a few pics.

The HR version is only 39 megs, but took forever to DL. :x

The cast list is mighty damn impressive if you ask me.

Not sure about the Batmobile though... :?

Looks like it might be the first decent Batman movie.  I like the return to the more understated 40's era costume. I also like the non-leading man casting of Bruce/Batman - bit of a dramtic stretch from playing Loury in Little Women. And I actually like the batmobile concept....it should be tank-like if it is going to track and capture villans.

The Marvel pictures of the last few years have raised the bar in showing how good a super-hero movie can be.....lets see if the DC icons can do as well.

Now we only have to wait for Superman.

Thanks,
Rob

Will be off to catch a screening of it shortly. Hope it's good as I've already got tickets to see it in IMAX next week.

Well George, I wish that I could tell you if it was any good or not. But getting to the screening 1 1/2 hours early wasn't early enough and I didn't get in.

Pretty much everyone that got in was there around 3 hours early... :shake:

So the next time I'm aware of that I'll be catching it is next Wednesday night. I've got tickets to see it in IMAX.

And ...checking the cast lineup....Dwight Gooden, a former NY Mets player, is playing a Gotham City police officer....

Well, I just got back from seeing it in IMAX.

If you can see it in IMAX, GO SEE IT IN IMAX IMMEDIATELY!

I gotta say I really liked the movie. And it kicked serious ass in IMAX. I'm now glad that seeing it last week didn't work out. And am also glad that I passed on another free showing of it last night. Because seeing it in IMAX first was one hell of an experience.

I did have two minor problems with it. But I won't say much so as not to ruin anything for you all before you've seen it.

I saw it last night in IMAX...worth every penny!!  Christopher Nolan is a freakin' genius.  His vision for this film was spot-on.  This man knows how the human mind works on all levels...good, evil, insane, distorted and criminal.

THE BEST BATMAN OF ALL!!  However...Katie Holmes, albeit, very cute was severely miscast for this part.  She looked barely legal and kinda' dumb and played the part of a Gotham City D.A., poorly I might add.  The part needed someone with talent, older looking and smarter...Jennifer Jason Leigh comes to mind.

Christian Bale was outstanding.  Ever see 'Empire of the Sun' by Steven Spielberg?  Bale's first role as a young teen.  IMO, he deserved an Oscar for that performance.

I can't wait for the sequel!!

I just saw batman begins...... It was great. the best from all batman movies.

Shame the imax in melbourne australia doesn't show action movies.

my only problem with the movie was the action scenes were shot a bit too tight- couldn't see what was happening

I just got back from this film and it was absolutely fantastic, especially if you've followed the comics and/or animated series from the early 90's.  My God was this a good one.

How much are tickets to an Imax movie normally?  I'd love to see this one more time because it was so freaking awesome!  Batman has been my favorite comic book character ever since Frank Miller's the dark knight series hit in the 80s.

$10 here.

I usually don't pay for any movie (pays to know the right people... ). But IMAX is more than worth the $10. And in the last 2 years, 5 out of the 7 or so movies I've paid for were IMAX presentations. The other 300 or so movies I've caught in the last 2 years have been free.

$15 in NYC

if its remastered specifically for IMax or an original IMAX shoot. Paid $15 for Batman in IMAX, and just $10. for Star Wars III on the same screen.
This is definitely the best Batman thus far...imo.

It's easily worth the $15 in IMAX if that's what it costs in NY.
