ModWright SWL 9.0 linestage - for sale - Hurry it won't last

When I originall purchased my SWL linestage, I went with the non SE version that did not come with the remote control. I want to get into the SE version with remote so I am letting my store demo unit go.

I riginally purchased the standard version but have done the following via authorization from Dan.

1) Coupling capacitors bypassed with .47uF SoniCap Platinum Teflon capacitors.
2) Cathode battery bypassed with SoniCap Gen I capacitors.
3) Damping material applied to interior of chassis.

This is a dead quiet unit and I want to get my order in for a new SE unit ASAP as I am putting together a new, unique Reference system.

I have received permision from Dan to sell my demo unit. It will NOT be advertised on AudioGon or Ebay. Only here on the circle and maybe on my website in a few days.

I am not posting any review links or consumer feedback as I am sure everyone here is well aware of what a great product this is.

Asking price: $1475 + shipping. Like new condition.
Most major credit card accepted. Paypal add 2%.

I have received a ton of inquiries on this unit but it seems everyone want the remote. For those who don't mind getting out of their chair, I am making it easy to own what is being considered the best preamp available within it price range and far above.

Can this unit be upgraded to SE?

If so how much does Dan charge to do this?

HI Marbles,
If you look at the original post, you will find that it is half way there already. The power supply is the only thing untouched at this time. I would recommend sending Dan a PM to see if he would and how much.
