VDA-1 battery option

Dusty- Have you given any thought to offering a battery option on your VDA-1? It would seem that a version using a SLA and charging unit would have some appeal to those who would prefer to get off the 'grid', with it's attendant problems.

The VDA-1 uses an AC Input, so using batteries would require modifications to the internal PCB.
Personally, I find batteries/chargers to be a pain in the a**, and don't feel you get any real performance gains over a properly designed supply.
