Anyone had any trouble getting No-Rez to stick over Duratex?

Can't say I've had the problem, but I can see a couple of issues that could crop up.

1.Texture. Any textured surface is only capable of bonding on the high points with peel and stick adhesive, so not a very intimate bond.

2. Most water-based coatings (latex) have a long cure time and even when fully cured have a somewhat flexible nature. Not a great starting point for adhesion. I don't know if this is true of Duratex, but many acrylic house paints exhibit something called "blocking" which manifests as a kind of perpetually sticky surface, which you'd think would increase adhesion, but it I suspect dissimilar adhesive probably don't respond it that way.

Maybe if we knew more about your particular situation, we could better identify problem.
