I first heard Maggie's back in the late 70s.  I own a pair of 1.6's.  Should have bought the 3.6s but I did not have the electronics for them.  Eventually upgraded to a Pass X250 amp and BAT VK51se preamp.

How do you like the 30.7?  I have only heard the 20.7.

I think the 30.7 are a big step forward sonicaly and as JV from absolute sound mentioned a real bargain in its class. But there are some restrictions which i am not so happy. i am using odyssey kismet spezial updated by klaus and they are still not powerful enough!! They also need a great room my  47 m2 are not really enough. The performance on the other hand is although not alsyvox standard still convincing.
