KLH 1590 Cap in tweeter circuit
« on: 26 Dec 2025, 07:30 pm »
My 30w 6 ohm tweeter was unresponsive. Resistance across read 1.5. Unable to check the cap. Can I remove the cap from circuit?

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

The cap is there to protect the tweeter from excessive power.
Seems the tweeter is burned, it should show 4 or 5 ohms.
