Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum, but I have been a member of a few other forums and groups over the past few decades. I have been an audiophile since the 80's and while I no longer have "golden ears" because of my work in nightclubs, I still appreciate good sounding, well-made vintage equipment.

I've recently acquired a set of Acoustat MK-121-2A speakers and they need some work to be done on them. I wonder if there is a parts breakdown or something for them because I need to take them apart to clean, and I don't want to damage them by taking them apart incorrectly. I need to take the "socks" off and clean out the frame because it sounds like a bowl of rice crispies which I assume is because of all the dust buildup over the years. So far, all of the information that I have seen online shows the panels already disassembled. Any help would be appreciated!

It seems that I spoke too quickly and have found a wonderful resource for the restoration of the 2+2 model (I accidently thought that the interface box model was the model of the speakers)

Please keep us updated on your progress. My father raves about the 2+2s, I have yet to hear them in person myself. We had a pair of the Model 3s which were impressive. I am a Magnepan person and enjoy hot rodding Maggies but I have my eye on that are for sell.
