Hello everyone,
Ron Post here. Just found this site.  I am a soon to be retired Mech Engineer.  When it comes to Stereo equip I am truly "Stuck in the 70's and 80's".  A few years ago we lost "The Sound Well", a vintage stereo shop in Berkeley, CA.  This was a big hit to me.  I need a place to satisfy my appetite for equipment, support, learning, and conversation.  I listen through an assortment of vintage Pioneer, Threshold, Nakamichi, Phillips, KLM, Sony equip.  In the future I may be looking for some Klipsh speakers? Right now I am looking for an on-off switch for my Threshold Stasis 3 amp (this has been "on" since the 80's when I got it from Nelson Pass).  I may open it up later today.
Looking forward to interacting with the "circle".

Hi and welcome. I knew a Mech Eng some 35 years ago, I knew him to be very meticulous, he must have been good.

For those who don't know Mech Eng design stuff like the machinery for mass production, lots of drafting involved.

Welcome to the forum Ron. If you're a fan of vintage gear, you've found the right whorehouse as Nick Cage's character, Hank Forrester said in the film "Showden".
