A newbie introduction post revamped system

Issues have dictated a complete revamp of my system. Sold the 90 pound amp which required having someone put in the box. Same with the sold 100 pound apiece speakers. Went to Class D Audio mono blocks. Pasithea DAC and VAC preamp. The speakers I have yet to receive so pulled the speakers out of the home theater system for 2 channel play.

Welcome to AC.  I too am downsizing as I get ready for retirement.  I have a 105 pound Pass X250 amp, a 50 pound BAT preamp and Magnepan 1.6 speakers.

I just bought a Mark Levinson 5805 integrated, thank god it is only 60 pounds and some Arendal 1528 stand mount speakers at 66 pounds each.  I am not so sure that I am going to keep them.  I tried a couple of Class D integrated amps and they were not for me.  A Marantz PM-KI Ruby and Marantz PM-10.  The PM-10 did not pair well with the new speakers.  The Levinson is way better though so it worked out in the end.
