How does it compare to your Line Magnetic I see there?

I've read, and based on the circuit layout of my Shuguang and my Line Magnetic, they are built in the same factory in China and probably used the same design team. Thats not true of all Shuguang and Line Magnetic amps just the 845s that use 300B driver stages. The real tell is the interstage coupling transformers used in these amps are identical. Most Chinese tube amps use coupling caps (I guess thats true for most American tube amps as well because of the cost) There are differences between my amps in the fit/finish, features, quality of parts and the massive separate power supply the Line Magnetic has. Sound wise the amps are similar but the Line Magnetic delivers more current so its more authoritative in the bass/lower midrange and a little more refined on the top-end. About what you would expect based on their price difference.
