Hi from Carthage Missouri,
I grew up in the Denver Colorado metro area and moved here 3 1/2 years ago. Pretty rural but we love it. I've been messing around in audio for 40 years and finally got back into records about two years ago. I had a VPI Prime 21, Benz-Micro LPS and an Audio Research Ref 2se. Something just wasn't right, so I ended up selling the whole lot. I later found out that something was wrong with the Ref 2se. Anyway, I'm looking for another used turntable and cartridge so thought I would ask for suggestions over here. Currently considering a Rega P8 or P10 and a gem dandy Polytable 12. Of course, I'm not too interested in another VPI. What are your thoughts?

Welcome from Wright City MO. I have a Polytable with a Jelco 12” arm and it’s great with Ortofon SPU carts. Not very pretty in person but it works well.
