After seeing James' post this morning with respect to the Montreal Audiofest, it dawned on me that I have not attended one in a very long time - easily over a decade now. I do remember experiencing a great turn out at the last one I attended (Toronto around the 2010 time frame). I'm curious how the attendance is for these events and would enjoy hearing from individuals if they have noticed an increase or decline in attendance over the years.

My first audiofest was Capital Audiofest in 2023, and I was surprised by how busy it was (not knowing what to expect). I don't think that there was ever a time when my brother and I were the only attendees in a room, and the elevators and hallways were always busy. The exhibitors seemed to be constantly engaged.
A friend and I are going to AXPONA in a couple of weeks. It'll be interesting to compare.

Hi Folks,

They tell me attendance was up around 25% from last year which was a reasonable good turnout.
Attendance was excellent on the Friday and Saturday (at no time was the room empty).
Sunday morning was light but afternoon picked up and was busy till about 4PM.
One good outcome in my opinion was I saw a lot more young folks and families.

Seems to be more interest in Stereo over home theater as well.
