I bought some Nakamichi 12awg speaker wires. The way it was built was 12awg stranded wire going into banana connectors. The wire is not treated in any way.

Should I tin the copper wire with solder and then secure the wire in the banana connectors?

I could use it just as it came from the shop.
This is for speaker cable or speaker internal wire?
